ahahah im glad you liked it!! Honesty I look back at 20 year old me and wonder how I found the time to wash my hair every 2-3 days! What inefficiency! hahah

Great thoughts here.

If you don't grow vegetables you won't need soil improvement, you won't need insecticides, you won't need seeds.

You'll need seats to sit on and enjoy it!

Hope the babe comes at the best time and learns to love your garden too.

That was such a great piece of writing Casey. I always love reading of your trials and tribulations in the garden and then the wonderful success that you pull off with blooms galore.

Such a wonderful post. And very sensible that the last 90 days of your pregnancy are in your winter when there’s not much to do in a garden. I’m with you with the hair. Mines a mix of wavy curly hair that just defies gravity if it’s washed regularly so I was my maybe every 5 days but I’d stretch to 7 if I never had to go to my office. I work hybrid so it’s just a few days a week I’m face to face with the other humans I work with. And my gardening keeps me sane. Time off from my phone, computer, bings and pings. Time off from work and dare I say it my family but I’m not fat if they want to be with me. My son joined me on the weekend when I was doing a bit of weeding m with the hens for company. I’m all for easy gardening too and I’m like a magnet to the self seeders! A garden should be your therapy not your chore.

thanks Claire!! And that's true, I'll try to use the short days and chilly nights as an excuse to start taking it a little easier. Although in Australia the same can be said for summer haha, sometimes there's no point doing very much in January (which was the excuse I used when I was pregnant with our son!). That is so lovely your son likes to garden with you, my happiest moments are when my husband, our toddler and I are all happily occupied in the garden, total bliss!
