I'm guessing we can save the seeds from tomatoes, cucumbers and zucchinis we've bought at the fruit & veg shop and plant them? Or do they not work as well?
Tomatoes work well! But I haven’t tried this with zucchinis or cucumbers. My gut feeling is that it would be better to buy heirloom zucchini and cucumber seeds to grow in the first year and then save the seeds from your own garden, I haven’t tried growing cucumbers and zucchinis from shop bought veggies but I feel like they may not reproduce true to type or may have unsuccessful germination. Tomatoes typically work pretty well though!
