I'm sold on the direct sowing. I did the whole seedling/punnet thing this year (first time grower) and it was so fiddly and time consuming for the amount of harvest I actually have got/am getting. Thanks 👍🏼
Ahh yes!! It takes such time investment with no guarantees! And I’m terrible for always losing interest/forgetting about my punnets halfway through so direct sowing suits me much better too! If you’re in Australia give snake beans a go this summer - such a fantastic crop and perfect for direct sowing! Good luck with your gardening 🥰🌸🌻

And as a mum in her 40s - all you beautiful Mamas hang in there! Those days of one-handed typing are fleeting and so exhausting. Give yourself so much grace - you are doing great.
Also-32-no-33yo trying not to cackle too loudly and wake 2yo. Embrace the chaos and the rogue pumpkins 😂✨️
hahah solidarity! mine is asleep on me as we speak (I'm becoming increasingly skilled at typing one-handed 😂)
I know it sounds crazy but I miss that sleeping baby / keyboard juggling act!
Argh I bet I will too! 😂

I'm in the UK, and we've had a strange summer tbh. I'm making plans for next season 😄
Oh yes you had a big heatwave? Hope the worst of it is over now! 🤞🏻☺️🌱

Oh yes I loved that book so much!! He’s such a legend, I try to apply his first principles (aka lazy) methods to my garden as much as I can!
And thank you for such a lovely comment and your encouragement, it means a lot ❤️❤️
