I’m also inspired to grow them! Is there a brand/distributer of seeds that you recommend?

Oh good question! I like to get my seeds from the diggers club, tesselaar and the seed collection mostly ☺️ make sure to get the fragrant ones!

I finally found the perfect spot to grow a profusion of these favourite flowers, then we got a dog, and I read somewhere that sweet peas are poisonous for dogs- have you heard this? Do your dogs mingle with your sweet peas?

Thanks

Lisa

Hi Lisa :) I’ve never worried about our dogs and sweet peas.. but our dogs don’t really eat much in our garden aside from our lemon grass. Does your dog tend to eat a lot of your plants? Perhaps you could grow sweet peas up a trellis behind a more structural plant like a rosemary, to prevent your dog from being able to reach them?

No she really only eats grass, good idea to put a plant in front, thank you!
