You totally hit the nail on the head Casey.

I love working on my garden a section at a time it makes it fun and not overwhelming, you also get a really sense of achievement when you see the outcome.🙂

Yes!! I love that sense of achievement, and it can come from both big and small things - today I madly planted (almost) the last of my spring bulbs in about 20 minutes and it was sooo satisfying to get them in!

Exactly! It all contributes to the bigger picture.🙂 I planted a load of bulbs the other day and they were just stored in a paper bag , I forgot to label them so I have no idea what I’ve planted! I’m looking forward to the surprise!🙂

Written so widely Casey, thank you for such practical and simple advice. I’ve felt so overwhelmed and scared to tackle my garden but now feel like I can give it a go and start small. I think it’s true to many things- people love to intimidate and over complicate advice.

Thanks so much for your wisdom! Harriette x

Thank you so much for the message Harriette!! I’m so glad you’re finding it helpful - totally agree so much in life is made needlessly complex and it strips the fun out of it! Definitely don’t feel scared to give things a go in your garden - what stage is it at currently? I’ve just started a chat group for sharing garden photos and things on substack, come say hi if you like, the link to the chat is up the top of my homepage under ‘chat’

- it’s a great place to get motivated and brainstorm ideas! 🥰🌷
