Five cheese fig galette
Serves 6
Figs and cheese are very, very good. So it stands to reason that figs and five different kinds of cheese, set atop flaky puff pastry and roasted in a hot oven will be even better. This is a deceptively easy dish - its fanciness belies the effort it takes to throw it together - making it perfect for a dinner party on a warm autumn night.
Bonus points if you grew the figs yourself.
No bonus points if you made the cheese yourself though, because if you are already making your own gouda, parmesan, pecorino, bocconcini and gorgonzola you don't need bonus points. You are already living the life of an otherworldly god and you get to spend your days eating cheese. That is more than enough.
